At Sock Talk, we believe that something as simple as a pair of socks can make a meaningful difference.

Socks are something most of us probably take for granted. We put on a clean, warm pair every morning without giving it a second thought. But for someone experiencing homelessness, having access to clean, dry and warm clothing isn’t always guaranteed.

That’s why we wanted to do something about it.

Our partnership with St Mungo's

We’re incredibly proud to support St Mungo’s and the work they do with people experiencing homelessness. Their approach recognises that homelessness is about far more than not having a home. Behind every person experiencing homelessness is an individual story, and people need different kinds of support to move forward.

We wanted our contribution to sit alongside that wider support by providing something simple, practical and immediate. Our donated socks are one small part of a much bigger picture - but we believe that small acts of kindness can add up to something significant.

For every order placed with Sock Talk, we donate one pair of clean, warm socks to St Mungo’s, a charity supporting people facing homelessness. Our partnership is built around a simple idea: every time you treat yourself to an order from Sock Talk, you help us provide a pair of socks to someone who needs them.

It’s our way of turning an everyday purchase into an opportunity to give something back.

We know that a pair of socks alone cannot solve homelessness. Homelessness is complex, and people facing it can experience a wide range of challenges. That’s why the work of organisations like St Mungo’s is so important.

St Mungo’s works with people experiencing homelessness and those at risk of homelessness, helping them find a safe place to stay and supporting them towards recovery and independence.

From accommodation and outreach to health, wellbeing and employment support, their work goes far beyond providing somewhere to sleep. They help people take steps towards a more secure and positive future.

Our role is a small one, but it’s one we’re proud of.

By donating clean, warm socks, we can contribute something practical that can offer warmth, comfort and dignity to people who may be going through an incredibly difficult time.

Because when you’re facing homelessness, the little things can matter.

Why socks?

We started Sock Talk because we love socks - but we also recognise that socks are one of those everyday essentials that can be easy to overlook.

For someone sleeping rough, a fresh, dry pair of socks is one of the hardest things to come by, and one of the most requested items in UK shelters. A fresh pair of socks can provide a simple but important bit of comfort.

We wanted to take something ordinary and make it meaningful.
